Building a Skipper Instrument

The process of creating a Skipper guitar is too multi-faceted to depict completely in these pages. The pictures you find here show just a few of the steps in the process. But every step, from selecting and dimensioning the wood to bringing the high “e” note up to pitch, is carried out by one man, Roger Skipper.
